As of April 7 2022, Australian residents will no longer to spend three days in quarantine upon arriving in Fiji. Instead, they will now need to pre-book and pre-pay for a RAT test to be taken with 72 hours of entering the country.
This new booking will need to be completed from a new online portal. Bookings for families or large travel groups can be completed through just one form. Once you have booked in your RAT test, you will be emailed a confirmation number that you will need to have available when flying to Fiji. If you do have this confirmation number ready, then you will not be allowed to board the plane.
Additionally, when travelling to Fiji you will also need to show proof of full vaccination, a pre-deaprture negative Covid test, and your travel insurance. While this documentation is a requirement to enter the country, this process is still a lot more cost-effective and streamlined than the previous process of having to go through quarantine.
